Kromvojoj is an Esperanto word that means “possible and diverse paths.” A concept that captures the essence of our event. Although the route is fixed from start to finish, the name highlights what truly matters: the personal experience, the choices, the pace, and the unique adventure from each participant. Because beyond the route itself, what really matters is the inner journey, and the shared connection that unfolds along the way.

Kromvojoj began as a personal project by four cycling enthusiasts, united by their passion for long-distance rides. Our mission is to offer an unparalleled experience that immerses participants in the local landscape while embodying the core values of ultra-distance cycling in a self-sufficiency format.
We believe that Catalonia offers an exceptional variety of landscapes, connected by a vast network of alternative routes that not only provide breathtaking scenery but also lead us to rich historical and cultural landmarks. With this vision, Kromvojoj came to life in 2019.
At the end of May 2026, we will host our fifth edition, featuring two distances that will traverse iconic locations and cols around Catalonia and the Pyrenees.

Kromvojoj aims to provide a unique ultra-distance cycling experience rooted in self-sufficiency, set in a territory of unparalleled character. Catalonia is renowned for its extraordinary scenic diversity, connected by a vast network of secondary roads that guide participants through historic villages and culturally rich landscapes, offering endless opportunities to immerse themselves in its heritage. In recent editions, we’ve expanded the route to include sections of the French Pyrenees and breathtaking landscapes of Aragon.
